The town of Giubiasco has long strived to find a solution to its problems concerning pedestrians and motor traffic. We were asked in 1994 to intervene on a neighborhood street in Via Rompada and then on the main square, Piazza Grande, and finally at Borghetto, its commercial center. Giubiasco received a special mention for the Swiss prize “Fussgänger, sicher!”(Safe pedestrians) in 2001 for via Rompeda and 2004 for Piazza Grande.
